1st Prize Log home package description:

This log package will be handcrafted from western red cedar, and should be a very popular size for a secondary home or cabin. For proper supervision of the log package erection, the specific date must be arranged with Far West Log & Timber Construction, Incorporated, Scottsdale, AZ prior to September 20, 2008.

It is imperative that the site chosen be accessible by semi tractor-trailers and crane in order to re-erect the home on their foundation. The Patriot will have 840 sq.ft on the main floor plus 395 sq. ft in the loft area for a total of 1235 sq. ft.  It is designed with a bedroom on the main floor and a loft area that can be finished however the owner would decide at a later date. 

Pioneer group will deliver & erect  the log home shell package. The log shell will include the following:
          exterior front door
          windows
          framed roof system, gable ends
          ranch style dormer

The owner (winner) will furnish the following, including materials and labor:
          the foundation
          floor-framing system
          finished roofing
          interior of the home
          exterior finish
