About Camp Patriot

Established in 2006, Camp Patriot is a 5-Star rated, 501c3 non-profit organization that has transformed the lives of hundreds of wounded and disabled veterans. This important task has been accomplished by fostering trusted relationships created through our unique outdoor therapy programs. Each program is specifically designed to deliver a powerful "life transformation".

Unique Treatment Approach: Whole Person Therapy

Our programs encourage and support participants to discover new ways of overcoming their injuries by modifying their prosthetics’, techniques and limiting beliefs.

Camp Patriot Seven Tenets of Renewal

  1. Paradigm shift via new challenges & experiences
  2. Trusted relationships
  3. A model for physical, emotional and spiritual well being
  4. A conduit to engagement in professional health care, employment and education
  5. A faith based support system
  6. Alumni who represent a "legacy of inspiration", and
  7. A champion of each wounded veteran

The Mission: Challenge, Change and Lead

Our programs challenge veterans to learn new ways to overcome their wounds in order to accomplish amazing goals. These challenges represent a crucible of change that proves to each participant that they can overcome any obstacle. Camp Patriot alumni have gone on to become great leaders in their communities.

"After I lost my leg, my therapist told me that I would never make it to the top of Mt. Rainier. Camp Patriot surrounded me with ‘Can Do” people who inspired me to train and persist. Reaching the summit was one of the greatest accomplishments of my life. I could not wait to show my therapist the photo of me holding the American flag at the top of Mt. Rainier.”
